Strong Foundations Behavior Services, LLC provides behavior therapy for children with special needs. Intervention Plans are composed and implemented by the Behavior Analyst for the Registered Behavior Technician to carry out daily using Applied Behavior Analysis. An RBT is required to understand each goal and use skills such as Discrete Trial Instruction and Natural Environment Teaching to teach the necessary skills. Plans can address deficits in communication, behavior, social, motor, or adaptive skills. Candidates must be willing to work with clients ranging in age from 2 to 18 years old. Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities
- Administer the behavior intervention plan outlined by the BCBA
- Collect accurate data and complete daily notes
- Communicate with co-workers and parents about daily sessions
- Comply with all laws as set forth by HIPAA
- Teach functional skills
- Deal with problem behaviors
- Work with employees and supervisors to revise behavior plans
Physical and Mental Demands
- On the job training will be provided
- Must be able to perform the following tasks:
- Collect, interpret, and/or analyze complex data and information
- Understand and respond to a diverse population
- Utilize fine motor coordination and clear speech
- Must have adequate hand and arm strength to grip and lift heavy objects
- Walk - frequently, up to 8 hours per day
- Stand - frequently, up to 8 hours per day
- Sit - frequently, up to 8 hours per day
- Kneel - frequently, 10-30 times per day
- Bend - frequently, 10-30 times per day
- Lifting-up to 40 pounds of various items
- Able to lift children and/or aid clients needing physical assistance
- Safely transport or physically move a client who is demonstrating noncompliance and/or problem behavior
- Able to sustain a 1:1 session with client throughout the day without a prolonged break

Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
- 36 college or university credit hours OR 500 hours working directly with children with autism
- Ability to lift children and/or aid clients needing physical assistance
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- English (Required)
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with basic sign language
- Experience communicating with parents
- RBT certification as administered by the BACB
- CPR and BLS certifications
- Experience with special needs child care: 1 year
