Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
- Assemble and install valves, fittings, and fixtures using hand and power tools.
- Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or potential hazards.
- Collaborate with construction teams on site to ensure plumbing work aligns with project specifications.
- Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing installations.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their plumbing needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety regulations.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Plumber or in a similar role within the construction or maintenance person field.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively.
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations is a plus for those who may need to transport materials or equipment.
- Experience in remodeling projects is advantageous but not required.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team on construction sites.
