Qualifications and experience

At STRONG, Instructors are the lifeblood of our business. The success of a studio depends on having an exceptional team of instructors who bring energy, expertise, and a commitment to excellence. While we value diversity in skills and backgrounds, all STRONG instructors are expected to meet the following qualifications:

• Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent

• Minimum General Group Fitness Certification

• Must hold a current CPR and AED certification and basic first-aid training

• Minimum of 3 months experience facilitating Group Fitness

• Successfully Complete Strong Academy and performance auditions

STRONG Academy

Our STRONG Instructors participate in a 7 day training program, community classes, and

assessments, in order to master the STRONG Pilates Method. During the Academy, you'll

learn about STRONG cueing, how to coach Rowing, Riding, Pilates and Strength &

Conditioning. Use of STRONG tech including microphones, lights, TV and clicker. STRONG brand awareness and more.

The Academy requires 1-2 hours of online work, plus 7 days in studio training. The dates for the in-person training are still tentative:

Online Portion: May 16-23

Week 1: May 30, May 31, June 1 & June 2

Week 2: June 6, June 7 & June 8

Important: Attendance for all 7 days is required in order to successfully complete the training.

Candidates should be prepared to be available outside of the 7 days of Academy training for additional practice and community classes to further refine your teaching skills and gain hands-on experience.
