- 7.5% commission on total sales

Position Overview:
We’re seeking a dedicated and experienced Sales Team Trainer to join our sales team & play a pivotal role in driving new business while mentoring new recruits. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in outside sales, specifically door-to-door canvassing, and a passion for training others to succeed. As a Sales Team Trainer, you will primarily be in the field, teaching new hires how to identify potential customers for roof replacements covered by insurance. You’ll also serve as a valuable resource for our sales team, equipping them with the skills and knowledge to build their own territories and drive revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Field-Based Training:
- Lead by example, showing new hires how to target areas for canvassing and effectively pitch roof replacements covered by insurance.
- Provide on-the-job training, demonstrating best practices for roof inspections, sales techniques, and customer interactions.
- Track interactions with potential customers using our CRM system to ensure follow-up and maintain relationships.
- Inspect roofs for storm damage and guide customers through the claims process.
- Master and effectively communicate the full range of products and services offered by Strong Roofing.
- Collaborate with adjusters to assess damage and assist in claims assessments.
Qualifications:
- Experience & Skills:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in storm damage roof replacement and proficiency in door knocking and cold calling.
- Demonstrated success in sales, particularly in generating new leads and building a customer base from scratch.
- Strong knowledge of roofing products, services, and the claims process.
- Ability to climb and navigate steep roofs safely.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage a large customer base.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with customers and team members.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset and the ability to work independently.
- A resilient and energetic attitude with a passion for helping others succeed.
