Responsibilities
- Monitor premises through regular patrols and surveillance systems, including CCTV, to detect and deter potential threats.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, ensuring the safety of individuals and property.
- Conduct thorough investigations of security breaches or suspicious activities, documenting findings accurately.
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage to assets.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and any interactions with law enforcement or emergency services.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to enhance overall security measures.
- Provide first aid and CPR assistance as needed during emergencies, ensuring the well-being of individuals on-site.
- Participate in ongoing training programs to stay current with best practices in security management.
Skills
- Proven experience in law enforcement or security roles is highly desirable.
- Strong conflict management abilities to effectively handle challenging situations.
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance techniques for effective monitoring.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held.
- Knowledge of loss prevention strategies to protect assets from theft or damage.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in high-pressure environments.
