Job Title: Armed/Unarmed Security Specialist

Job Type: Contract Pending, Various Roles

Pay Rate: $20-30/hour (depending on the need)

On call/As needed

Location: Lansing, MI

Job Description:

We are currently seeking both armed and unarmed security guards to join our team for various contract pending roles. As a security guard, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their properties. Your duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Conducting regular patrols of the premises
• Checking identification and controlling access to the property
• Monitoring surveillance cameras and alarms
• Responding to emergencies and incidents
• Reporting any suspicious activity or safety hazards

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent
• Have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
• For armed security positions, must possess a valid firearms permit and meet state-specific requirements

Skills and Abilities:

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
• Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and professionally
• Physical fitness and the ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods of time
