Floral Studio Supervisor

POSITION SUMMARY : The Floral Studio Supervisor (FSS) will be responsible for the completion of all event related and in-house floral and decor projects property-wide. The goal and mission of the floral department is to design for each client’s vision, product excellent quality floral and décor, maintain the aesthetics that defines Stroudsmoor’s brand, and ensure revenue growth for the department year over year.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

Essential Duties

• Leads the floral team in the design-production, delivery, set up, and retrieval of reusable equipment
• Reviews contracts and assigns projects based on skills of each designer and the level of intricacy in each design
• Produces floral and hard good designs using all industry specific supplies, fresh, silk, and dried florals and greenery
• Oversees to completion, the execution of all floral and décor contracts property-wide. The FSS is responsible to the team during execution and has eyes on the finished project to ensure quality
• Photographs completed projects and reports to DSM any deficiencies in a timely manner to ensure the situation is resolved before the event starts and the client is aware
• Monitors all supply and floral inventory, and communicates shortages and supply requirements to the DSM
• Maintains, along with the floral staff, a clean and organized work space
• Ensures the display areas in the studio are always “tour ready”
• Other Duties as assigned
