- Grounds Maintenance: Performs routine landscaping tasks such as mowing, trimming, edging, weeding, and leaf removal to keep the property looking neat and attractive.
- Planting and Pruning: Assists in the planting of flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance the landscape, and participate in pruning activities to maintain the health and shape of existing plants.
- Irrigation System Management: Monitors and adjusts irrigation systems as needed to ensure plants and lawns receive adequate water and prevent overwatering.
- Pest and Disease Control: Identifies common pests and plant diseases and works with the maintenance team to implement appropriate control measures to protect the landscape.
- Seasonal Changes: Adjusts landscaping tasks based on the changing seasons, such as preparing for winterization or handling spring plantings.
- Equipment Maintenance: Keeps all landscaping tools and equipment in good working condition and reports any maintenance needs to the supervisor.
- Collaboration: Coordinates with the landscaping team, groundskeepers, and other staff to ensure seamless execution of landscaping activities and support other departments when necessary.
- Health and Safety: Complies with all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe work environment for yourself, fellow employees, and guests.
- Landscape Improvements: Suggests and implements improvements to enhance the overall appearance of the property, considering guest preferences and the Inn's aesthetic.
- Prior experience in landscaping or groundskeeping preferred
