Struction Solutions is seeking a Design Manager to leaddesign activities for the School Upgrade Program and critical repair projects.This role ensures compliance with LAUSD standards while managing architecturaldesign processes from conception to execution.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and oversee design activities, ensuring compliance with policies, regulations, and budget constraints.
- Manage multiple projects, coordinating with architects, consultants, and District personnel.
- Ensure designs meet educational and building standards while maximizing budget efficiency.
- Oversee architectural firm selection and establish a structured design review process.
- Facilitate communication between design professionals and District administrators.
- Maintain project documentation for legal compliance and review design changes for budget alignment.
- Engage in community outreach and professional development initiatives.
- Collaborate with various District departments, including Environmental Health & Safety, A / E Design Services, and Maintenance & Operations.
