What are the responsibilities and job description for the Energy Management Systems Supervisor (EMS) position at STRUCTION SOLUTIONS?
Duties :
The EMS Supervisor will act as the subject matter expert in Energy Management Systems (EMS). This individual will oversee the installation, turnover, and use of our EMS controls systems.
Responsibilities include :
- Perform HVAC Controls Design reviews.
- Perform HVAC Controls Submittal reviews.
- Review utility data and energy usage to identify schools for recommissioning and retro-commissioning.
- Review EMS, energy data, and alarms to identify no-cost / low-cost energy conservation measures.
- Review EMS, energy data, and alarms to identify preventive maintenance measures.
- Review newly turned over schools' energy usage versus benchmarks in design to verify performance.
- Assist in updating controls specifications to meet new federal, state, or local codes / standards.
- Assist with implementing requirements to allow for integration of other controls systems (Lighting, Irrigation, PV) with EMS.
- Assist in creating district-standard control sequences of operations.
- Assist with drafting Controls shop drawings and sequences of operations for small controls upgrade projects.
- Review the feasibility of retro-commissioning measures.
- Assist in managing In-House Commissioning Projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
