Commercial General Contractor Construction Project Superintendent
The Superintendent will manage and control assigned projects, including overseeing field operations, site safety, productivity, schedule, quality work, trade contractor, and supplier coordination for a Commercial General Contractor. The position will work with the Senior Superintendent, Assistant Project Manager, and Project Manager leading the project team.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
ALL aspects of creating and maintaining a safe job site.
- Coordinates and supervises all construction activities.
- Creates & maintains construction schedule, identifies and solves problems.
- Orders materials and schedules inspections as necessary throughout the process.
- Organizes and directs all self-perform work on site.
- Directs all field personnel to complete the project on schedule, within budget, and with quality workmanship that conforms to original plans and specifications.

- Computers: Able to operate computers, send/receive e-mails, and create spreadsheets, write a letter, and build a schedule using a scheduling program.

EXPERIENCE: 5 Years
QUALIFICATIONS: A demonstrated understanding of construction means and methods associated with renovating and constructing commercial and institutional buildings and related site work. The ability to effectively communicate both in written and spoken English words. Proficiency with spreadsheets, Email, and other software used in the construction industry. Must have Commercial Construction experience.
EDUCATION: 4-year college degree preferred
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Ability to stand for long periods, Ability to sit for long periods, must be able to lift 50 lbs. occasionally, ability to work required over time to accomplish the desired team objectives & goals
