Structural Component Systems, Inc. of Fremont, NE is actively seeking a full-time Residential Building Materials / Lumber Estimator to estimate loose material / wholesale material orders on various projects, focusing mainly on complex, custom residential projects. This exempt-level position works in our Omaha, Nebraska or Grimes, Iowa office or Remote with typical hours Monday - Friday, 45 average hours / week. Candidates with knowledge of the construction industry and past loose material estimating or similar experience is required.
Please note : At least 5 years of wood construction loose materials estimating experience required. Planswift or similar software. We do not hire candidates with residency outside of the USA.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A LOOSE MATERIALS ESTIMATOR
This role is critical to navigating successful projects in Structural Component Systems, Inc.'s large project format. This person will be responsible for full-project estimating on loose material orders on any project over $100,000.00 in sales. Accuracy and speed in creating complete estimates is critical to ensure customer satisfaction and project profitability.
Requirements :
- Minimum of 5-8 years building material estimating experience required.
- Experience preparing bids & reference information utilizing Planswift, Timberline, MiTek, and other design related software.
- Knowledge of Bistrack preferred but not required.
- Must be able to learn new computer programs quickly and type at a fast speed, at least 50 WPM.
