Job Overview
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products meet established quality standards and comply with relevant regulations. Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers to assess product specifications accurately.
- Implement and maintain quality systems in accordance with FDA regulations and ISO 13485 standards.
- Perform quality audits to identify areas for improvement within the production process.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Document inspection results, maintain accurate records, and prepare reports on quality metrics.
- Participate in training sessions related to quality control practices, including HACCP principles.
- Assist in the development of inspection protocols and procedures to enhance product quality.
Requirements
- Proven experience in quality inspection or a related field, with a strong understanding of QA/QC principles.
- Familiarity with FDA regulations, ISO 13485 standards, and HACCP guidelines is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using measurement tools such as calipers and other precision instruments.
- Experience with quality systems and software, including Calypso for data analysis, is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify defects and recommend improvements effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for maintaining accurate records.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Strong communication skills to convey findings clearly to team members and management.
