What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Resource Coordinator position at Structural Group, Inc?

STRUCTURAL offers a wide range of specialty repair and maintenance services and is the largest concrete repair contractor in the United States, with over 2,500 employees working from locations nationwide and in select international markets.
We are currently recruiting for a Field Resource Coordinator to be based in our Salt Lake City office, located in North Salt Lake, UT. As a Field Resource Coordinator for STRUCTURAL, you will be accountable for organizing and coordinating tasks and schedules related to our field craft labor teams and light administrative duties.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for:
- Facilitating the field craft new hire process, including application reviews, interview set up, participating in interviews, issuing offer letters, explaining company policies and benefits and reviewing job duties/expectations
- Conducting company orientations for individuals or new hire groups – including safety trainings, SSE program, drug/background screenings and issuance of PPE
- Confirming and tracking of training hours and entering in software along with communicating to KM/Workforce
- Create, maintain and manage all daily, weekly and 30-week schedules for branch field resources
- Ensure field staffing is at the appropriate budgeted level and is balanced to meet the needs of the branch
- Maintain accurate records in software of attendance, vacation and time-off requests along with required manpower reporting during weekly meetings
- Collaborating with Construction Team on status of technicians and when applicable generate No Call No Show letters, along with EAR for terminations, SSE pay raises, and voluntary quits
- Coordinating and securing travel for crew to/from job sites and follow up
- Processing crew expense reports to/from job sites
- Identifying and reordering of office supplies/kitchen essentials
- Coordinate lunches for meetings, lunch and learns
- Other light administrative duties as assigned
Candidates who meet the following criteria may be considered for this Field Resource Coordinator position:
- Post high-school certificate or Associate’s Degree
- 5 years field experience working in general construction, concrete, structural steel and/or concrete repair or a combination of experience, skills and demonstrated leadership capabilities
- Working knowledge of construction-related processes and industry practices
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent documentation and organizational skills required
- Willing to travel to job sites as requested
