Structural Materials Inc. is a local concrete and construction related supply company. We are seeking a motivated and energetic 2-Ton in-town delivery driver to join our North Fargo team. This position is a seasonal position with the potential to become year-round. As a delivery driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods and products to customers within the city limits.
Job Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading goods and products.
- Planning delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
- Driving safely and responsibly while obeying all traffic laws and regulations.
- Communicating with customers and providing excellent customer service.
- Maintaining accurate delivery records and ensuring all paperwork is completed correctly.
- Forklift Operation
- Performing routine vehicle maintenance and inspections.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Job Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Experience driving a 2-ton vehicle (or similar sized vehicle) preferred but not required (training provided).
- Good knowledge of the local area and streets.
- Ability to read maps and use GPS systems.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift heavy objects up to 80 lbs.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including the ability to work Saturdays on a scheduled rotation.
- Must have or be able to pass a Health Card Certification.
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
