Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in maintenance and repair, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. This role requires a proactive approach to maintaining equipment and facilities, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards. The Maintenance Technician will work collaboratively with other team members and departments to support overall operational goals.
Responsibilities
- Performing routine and scheduled preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
- Troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment, including automated saws, conveyors, and assembly machinery.
- Replacing or installing new electrical components, such as switches, sensors, and motor starters, with accuracy and efficiency.
- Diagnosing and repairing circuits of varying voltages (24V, 120V, and 240/480V).
- Troubleshooting electro-mechanical pneumatic systems, including components like air cylinders, solenoids, relays, and linear bearings.
- Adhering to OSHA and SDS safety standards and maintaining a strong safety culture in all tasks performed.
- Communicating effectively with production personnel to identify and resolve equipment or system issues promptly.
- Conducting general maintenance tasks related to HVAC, plumbing, and sanitary systems.
- Assisting with welding, mechanical fabrication, and other related tasks as required.
Skills
- A minimum of 3 years of experience troubleshooting electrical circuits and components of varying voltages.
- Proven experience troubleshooting and maintaining electro-mechanical pneumatic systems and components.
- Solid knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures and best practices.
- Familiarity with safety practices, including OSHA and SDS guidelines.
- Experience with HVAC, plumbing, and general facilities maintenance.
- Proficiency in welding and mechanical fabrication (preferred).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and production staff.
- Availability to work overtime as needed to support operational requirements.
