STRUCTURAL TECHNOLOGIES is currently recruiting for a Cathodic Protection Engineer to be based in our Columbia, MD offices to support our Corrosion Solutions and Cathodic Protection team. This position will entail the following :
- Gain experience and knowledge of corrosion and specialty scopes of work pertaining to reinforced concrete structures.
- Support the development of design calculations, design reports, method statements, shop drawings, commissioning and monitoring reports
- Supporting the installation and Commissioning of reinforced concrete Cathodic Protection projects.
- Supporting our forensic investigation teams in performing, analyzing results of non-destructive and semi-destructive electrochemical corrosion testing methods.
- Review and edit engineering reports; consult field staff regarding revisions in analysis or modifications of system designs as appropriate
- Review charts, tables, calculations and related data gathered
