We’re looking to add another low-voltage technician to our Structured WNY family. This role will be part of a team that installs and services various systems such as CCTV , Access Control , Fire , Security , Audio/Video and Voice/Data. Some responsibilities of the position consist of interacting with customers, installing various systems, communicating and working within a team, and completing the necessary paperwork in a timely manner.

StructuRED WNY LLC is looking for an Electronic Security Technician to join one of the fastest-growing full-service security and resiliency solution integration companies in Buffalo. The ideal candidate is responsible for installing, servicing, and troubleshooting access control and CCTV equipment and systems. Work is performed out of our Buffalo, NY office in various interior and exterior locations and can require ladders, lifts, and bucket trucks.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Install cabling and card readers, mount equipment, door contact and strikes, intrusion detection, CCTV equipment, and access control systems
- Possess a functional understanding of low voltage systems and relays
- Use diagnostic equipment/software and established troubleshooting techniques to isolate equipment failures and resolve performance issues
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals, wiring diagrams, and other specifications
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Low Voltage Technician with a strong background in CCTV, fire alarms, and security systems.
- Proficient in using hand tools and cabling techniques.
- Familiarity with schematics and electrical systems.
- Knowledge of computer networking and mechanical systems is a plus.
- Experience in field service and alarm system sales is advantageous.
- Understanding of NEC standards and remote access software.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
