Cafe Associate

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Associate to join our team in a fast-paced café environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for food service and customer satisfaction, ensuring that every guest has an exceptional experience. As an Associate, you will play a key role in maintaining the quality of our offerings while adhering to food safety standards.

Duties
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests and taking orders efficiently.
- Prepare and serve food and beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Operate the Aloha POS system for order processing and payment transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including dining spaces and food preparation areas.
- Ensure compliance with food handling and safety regulations at all times.
- Assist in inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance overall customer satisfaction.
- Perform basic math calculations for cash handling and sales reporting.

Experience
- Previous experience in a café or restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food safety practices is advantageous.
- Experience with retail math concepts to assist in inventory management and cash handling is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to adapt to changing situations are essential traits for success in this role.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 26 – 35 per week
