We are seeking a dedicated and EXPERIENCED permanent Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals, be 18 or older, be seeking permanent employment (not seasonal or temporary), and would provide exceptional care to furry companions.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise dogs in play areas to ensure a safe and positive environment
- Assist with feeding and administering medications as needed
- Engage dogs in playtime activities and socialization
- Clean and maintain daycare facilities to uphold cleanliness standards
- Monitor dog behavior for any signs of aggression or illness
- Interact with pet owners, providing updates on their pets' well-being
Skills:
- Experience in animal handling, particularly with dogs
- Knowledge of dog training techniques is a plus
- Ability to provide attentive animal care
- Capable of lifting heavy objects or pets when necessary
- Skill in animal restraint and handling various breeds
- Previous experience in pet sitting or related customer service roles
