This position is located in Cumming GA.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to all fabrication procedures.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Diagnose and repair batteries.
- Measure and cut metal materials to specified dimensions.
- Operate welding equipment and other fabrication tools.
- Assemble metal parts and structures using welding, bolting, and riveting techniques.
- Inspect completed work for accuracy and quality.
- Maintain and repair fabrication equipment as needed.
- Follow all safety and health policies and procedures.
- Keep the work area clean and organized.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing procedures.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors and management.
Qualifications
Required Education:- High School Diploma or equivalent GED
Skills:
- Communicate effectively in basic English to follow instructions, interact with supervisors, and understand manuals and work orders.
- Basic proficiency in one or more of the following areas:
- Mechanical Assembly
- Electrical Control Wiring
- Machine Control Programming
- Machining
- Drafting
Physical Requirements:
- Occasionally lift up to 70 pounds or more.
- Wear required personal protective equipment.
- Tolerate occasional exposure to extreme environmental conditions (heat, cold, odors, dust).
- Ability to climb ladders, squat, bend, and work in confined spaces.
