Overview
Storion Energy is focused on providing components for flow batteries which are especially suited for long duration energy storage systems which includes power assemblies and vanadium electrolyte. Our Alpharetta office stands as our engineering development center for manufacturing processes and production systems as well as the site of a full scale vanadium production facility. Storion is setting out to provide the domestic sourcing of battery components for large scale energy storage. Working closely with customers offering components and manufacturing expertise to enable the wide scale adoption of long duration energy storage systems in the US.Responsibilities
About the role - you'll need to:
Integrate and manufacture components into production systems
Assist in scaling out pilot and beta systems to full scale production
Decommission prior engineering test units
Validate technologies and produce working demonstration systems which integrate new technologies with existing Storion systems.
Use CAD (Stryten uses SolidWorks) and engineering analysis to assist with the definition and fine-tuning of emerging designs.
Perform experiments, first-article inspections, material selection and similar tasks associated with mechanical engineering.
Draft test report and plans for engineering testing and validation.
Qualifications
Working towards a degree in Engineering
Graduating between December 2025 and May 2026
With a GPA of 3.0 or greater
You must have housing and transportation
The position is required to work onsite daily
