STS Aerospace in Laconia, NH is searching for Fabrication Assembly - Marking to join the team. This position is responsible for the accurate labeling of parts and assemblies using various marking methods.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Understands engineering drawings, factory orders, and routers to determine marking requirements
· Use the appropriate marking method (Electro-Etch, Laser, Vibro-Peen, Dot-Peen, Ink) to clearly and correctly identify materials, test pieces, and other assemblies as required
· Barcode scan or manually enter identification requirements in the computer
· Manually transfer ink marking onto part surfaces
· Pre-form aluminum tags before assembly
· Apply aluminum tags into place
· Assemble stainless tags onto hoses and tubes
· Assemble shrink sleeve over marking as required and set in place
Education, Certifications, Licenses, & Registrations - High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
