STS Aerospace in Laconia, NH is searching for a Production Planner to join the team. This position is responsible for the execution of the Master Production Schedule. Although the Production Planner is not responsible for day-to-day shipping commits to customer, they will work closely with material, quality, production, inside sales, etc. to establish delivery commits on expedited and critical items.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule daily work for value stream/production cell to meet release and WIP target hours.
- Manage and communicate release delinquencies and provide recovery plans and or revision to MPS.
- Proactive in problem solving the day-to-day issues that do not support MPS on time starts.
- Coordinate with production and cell leaders to expedite critical orders.
- Coordinate and or participate in material, production, quality, etc. meetings as needed to support on time starts.
- Expedite raw materials with Materials Planning/Purchasing/Receiving/Inspection as required for on time starts.
- Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
EXPERIENCE
- One to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
