STS Aerospace in Laconia, NH is searching for a Warehouse Bulk Shipper, to join our team. Under the general direction of the Warehouse Supervisor, this position is responsible for accurately tracking, retrieving, and packaging inventory for bulk shipments.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Able to independently, accurately, and fluently use computer programs and websites to perform inventory transactions, print shipping reports, invoices, pack slips and labels as well as other documentation relating to shipments and inventory
- Able to navigate throughout the warehouse to locate items for shipment
- Accurately count items for shipment, by hand or scale
- Accurately maintain documentation for domestic and international shipments
- Packages assemblies/parts and inspect wrapping, parts, and containers for conformance to company standards, customer requirements, shipping companies, and postal regulations
- Provides appropriate documentation to accompany each shipment
- Able to efficiently coordinate carrier pick-up’s
- Serve as back-up for distribution shipping and other warehouse duties
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
- Other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate should possess the following:
- Positive attitude
- Intermediate computer software navigation skills
- Strong math skills
- Experience with counting and organizing
- Ability to read, and record inventory
- Ability to assist in key responsibilities
- Ability to be on their feet for an entire shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently
