What are the responsibilities and job description for the Carpenter - Multifamily/Mixed Use New Construction position at STS CONSTRUCTION?

What Does A Carpenters Day Look Like?
- General Carpentry - Safety rails, temporary stairs and ramps, etc.
- Assisting subcontractors with carpentry as needed
- Assisting the Assistant Superintendent with site coordination
- Pickup Framing
- Finish Carpentry
As a carpenter you will be working with the Assistant Superintendent on carpentry and site coordination on Multi-Family projects.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in carpentry
- Must own your own hand tools
- Must know how to read plans and structural specifications
- Must be comfortable operating forklifts and other machinery - training and certification will be provided if necessary
- Must be comfortable working in the street flagging - training and certification will be provided if necessary
- Valid driver's license
- Dependable transportation
- Concrete experience is a plus
- Grading/Laser experience is a plus
- Street use or flagging experience is a plus
Job Site Locations: North-South Seattle, WA
Schedule: Monday-Friday
- Start Time: 6:00am-9:00am depending on project
- End Time: 3:00pm- 6:00pm depending on project
