What are the responsibilities and job description for the Continuous Improvement Coordinator position at STS Manufacturing?
Continuous Improvement Coordinator - Direct Hire
The coordinates and assists in the site's Lean and Continuous Improvement activities. This role champions change as a resource for Lean improvement techniques and provides leadership and guidance for site continuous improvement activities such as Kaizen and Blackbelt.
The Coordinator will be assigned to one of our value streams and will work very closely with production to identify any areas of improvement on the production lines.
They will participate and lead Kaizen and other Lean events.
Experience with six sigma and lean manufacturing knowledge would be ideal.
A degree or relevant experience is appreciated.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday schedule, 7am-5pm however you will need to be flexible to work into later afternoons or weekends should they need to facilitate a training or participate in one.
You should be proficient in:
- Continuous Improvement
- 5 Why (Root Cause Analysis Method)
- Lean Manufacturing Principles
- Six Sigma Experience
