Security Officer (Full-Time Overnight)

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires keen observational skills, the ability to manage conflicts effectively, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols. As a Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in preventing loss and ensuring the overall security of the premises.

Duties

• Monitor and patrol designated areas to ensure safety and security.
• Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to detect suspicious activities.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
• Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and ensure asset protection.
• Manage conflicts with professionalism and de-escalate potentially volatile situations.
• Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary, providing detailed reports of incidents.
• Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations.

Qualifications

• Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Knowledge of loss prevention techniques is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail are essential.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
