MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN IN FOOD PRODUCTION
HIGH PAY
35-$38 HR (DOE)
MUST HAVE VALID DRIVERS LICENSE (NOT JUST AN ID) and CAR INSURANCE
Must be willing to Travel to Vermont for a minimum of 6 months - - Could be a long-term opportunity.
Forklift Experience is a PLUS
Per Diem $50 per day for each day of work
Travel / Flight, Hotel & Rental Car will be provided
Drug Test and Background Check will be given for this position
Key Responsibilities include :
Troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, installing, and improving process and packing equipment to maximize production and maintain high standards in safety and quality.
Observe all safety, sanitation, GMP and HACCP requirements
Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems, pumps, motors, HMIs, ad PLCs on complex process and packaging equipment
Perform various equipment preventive maintenance tasks as necessary, but routinely in cases requiring advanced technical expertise
Responsible for safety compliance personally and with equipment
Review documentation for maintenance activity using the maintenance database, adequately communicate maintenance issues to appropriate employees(e.g., other maintenance techs, operators, engineers, supervisors, etc.) and properly utilize the maintenance inventory
Train production employees as needed for set-ups, operation of all equipment, etc.
Participate in project and / or rebuilds
Responsible for food safety as well as meting all regulatory requirements
Assist in day-to-day support of operators for adjustments, setups, and charge overs
Requirements :
High school diploma or vocational school diploma
Minimum of 5 years manufacturing experience, required
