Material Support Technicians

STS Technical Services is hiring Material Support Technicians to join our team in Bedford, Pennsylvania. • Maintain inventory levels by identifying, labeling, stocking, and recording materials and supplies.
• Operate forklifts (up to 30,000 lbs.) and mobile cranes to transport heavy materials inside and outside buildings.
• Process production requirements by obtaining work orders and verifying packing slips.
• Package materials and parts for safe shipment to internal and external customers.
• Communicate with internal customers to respond to material requests promptly.
• Develop bills of lading and delivery forms for shipments.
• Locate and verify materials listed on production orders.
• Perform cycle counts of inventory as directed by the supervisor.
• Learn and utilize the company's inventory management system.
• Sort items by destination and verify against purchase orders.
• Commit to working overtime or a 7-day schedule when necessary.
• Complete additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

• Experience operating forklifts, including those with a 30,000-lb. capacity.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and operate mobile cranes effectively.

• 2nd Shift: 4:00 PM - 2:00 AM
• 3rd Shift: 8:00 PM - 6:00 AM
