STS Technical Services is seeking a qualified Parts Coordinator to manage the Test Support Systems Support Package (SSP), Government Furnished Equipment (GFE), and Contractor Furnished Equipment (CFE) for JLTV Family of Vehicles (FoV) testing at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.
The Parts Coordinator will ensure accurate tracking, logging, tagging, and shipping of parts while maintaining a detailed logbook and providing logistical support for the maintenance and repair of JLTV vehicles. The ideal candidate will handle part deliveries, collaborate with teams, and track equipment shipments, all while ensuring timely and efficient resolution of parts-related issues.
Responsibilities :
Record, log, and tag damaged parts with return / damaged part tags; create and maintain shipping logs for all parts.
Maintain a comprehensive logbook, including shipping dates, couriers, and tracking numbers.
Resolve issues related to lost or damaged shipments in a timely manner, ensuring all issues are properly addressed.
Manage records of hand-receipted GFE and CFE for JLTV FoV and Companion Trailers.
Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Projects) to manage parts inventory and report on GFE / CFE.
Deliver parts to maintenance shops using company-supplied vehicles; collect and catalog damaged items for shipment.
Make trips to shipping / postal companies as needed to expedite the shipment process.
Package and ship both new and damaged items to designated locations according to specifications.
Qualifications :
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Projects).
Valid driver’s license.
Active or interim Secret Clearance required.
Ability to obtain and maintain a CAC (Common Access Card).
Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
Prior experience in logistics or parts coordination is preferred.
Additional Information :
This role requires frequent travel to shipping and postal companies for expediting shipments.
Must be able to manage multiple shipments and coordinate parts management tasks efficiently.
