Job Title : Field Service Representatives ( JLTV Project ) Location : 100% Travel, U.S. and International Company : STS Technical Services Contract Length : 3-6 months (Long-term contract potential)
Position Overview :
STS Technical Services is seeking experienced Field Service Representatives (FSRs) for an exciting 3-6 month contract with the potential for long-term opportunities. This role involves extensive travel, supporting military vehicles across up to 22 fielding site locations throughout the United States and abroad. As a Field Service Representative, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and troubleshooting military vehicles while providing essential training to personnel on operations, maintenance, and repair.
Key Responsibilities :
Vehicle Maintenance & Troubleshooting : Diagnose, repair, and service a variety of military vehicles, including powertrain, cooling, electrical charging, suspension, heating and ventilation, steering, and system integration of ancillary equipment.
Customer Support : Provide mechanic-based field support to military customers, ensuring timely service and parts delivery to meet customer satisfaction.
Training & Instruction : Offer orientation and instruction to military personnel on proper operations, maintenance, and repair procedures for vehicles and equipment.
Field Service & Retrofits : Execute domestic and international field service efforts, including supporting equipment retrofits at military bases worldwide.
Warranty Administration : Manage the defense warranty process, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Preferred Qualifications :
Military Vehicle Experience : Work experience with JLTV, FMTV, FHTV, HETT, HEMITT, or other military wheeled vehicles.
Licenses & Certifications : Active Class A or Class B CDL license with air brake endorsement.
Educational Background : Degree in vehicle service repair, heavy equipment, or diesel technology is preferred.
Required Qualifications :
Mechanical Experience : Minimum of 5 years of experience working with heavy / light wheeled military vehicles (5-10 years preferred).
Travel Commitment : Ability to travel worldwide100% of the time.
Security Clearance : Ability to obtain a minimum NACI level security clearance.
Passport : Active U.S. Passport valid for at least 5 years.
Education : High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Driver’s License : Valid U.S. Driver’s License.
