Reporting directly to the Project Delivery Leader, the Project Manager will oversee a team of site-based staff and implement construction management best practices to manage scope, schedule, cost, and quality throughout the design and construction phases. This role involves leading the construction management (CM) team in the design and execution of a multi-million-dollar project.
Key responsibilities include:
- Representing the client during building design and construction, ensuring alignment with cost, schedule, scope, and quality objectives.
- Facilitating meetings and communication among multiple stakeholders while utilizing the latest project management control systems.
- Assisting in the development of project scopes and budgets for modifications and changes.
- Evaluating technical proposals and advising the client on strategies to mitigate construction costs and schedule risks.
- Monitoring project schedules, approving payment requisitions, and preparing executive-level progress reports.
- Assigning and optimizing contributions from technical resources to support project execution.
- Expediting necessary actions and proactively addressing challenges that arise during design and construction.
- Managing site-based staff within a fast-paced work environment to ensure project success.
