Field Instrumentation and Controls Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is seeking a Field Instrumentation and Controls (I&C) Engineer with over 5 years of experience is responsible for the design, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of instrumentation and control systems. Will facilitate small projects and provide direct support to maintenance teams to ensure efficient and safe operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Project Facilitation : Lead and manage small-scale instrumentation and control projects from conception to completion, ensuring they meet project specifications, timelines, and budgets.
  • Installation and Commissioning : Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of instrumentation and control systems in the field.
  • Technical Support : Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to maintenance teams and operations staff.
  • Compliance and Safety : Ensure all instrumentation and control systems comply with relevant safety standards and environmental regulations.
  • Documentation : Maintain comprehensive documentation of field activities, including calibration records, maintenance logs, and issue reports.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical, or related field).
  • 5 years in instrumentation and control systems.
  • Proficiency in reading instrumentation drawings, logic diagrams
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
  • MS Office proficiency
  • Relevant certifications such as EIT, ISA, PMP, PMI, or PE are preferred.
  • TWIC required, and MS Office).
