What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Office Coordinator position at Stuart Rehabilitation and Healthcare?
We are a healthcare facility, fully accredited and licensed by the state of FL. Our facility is committed to providing excellent Care and services to our residents.
We are now recruiting an a resident account Representative in our Business office with prior experience working in a a healthcare setting, AND a background in healthcare billing and collections, a must*
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of A/R billing and medical collection protocol and procedures including private pay, state/federal and third-party collections in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care environment, including, resident trust fund and petty cash reconciliation.
- Accounts payable process in an electronic environment
- Knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Word, Internet and Internet navigation.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide outstanding customer service and communicate positively with residents, family members and other staff as a representative of the business office.
- Maintain accuracy and efficiency in all work performed.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and perform other duties as assigned or as needed.
