Key Responsibilities:
Operational Coordination:
Take ownership of inventory management, ensuring materials align with production demands and kit assembly schedules.
Collaborate with the Production Manager to streamline operations, support production scheduling, and resolve operational challenges.
Monitor and optimize resource allocation to minimize delays and enhance efficiency.
Cross-Functional Support:
Act as the central point of communication between procurement, business development, production, and logistics teams.
Work closely with the Logistics Manager to align procurement with shipping schedules, including freight coordination and document preparation.
Collaborate with Inside Sales to ensure seamless communication and excellent customer service.
Provide operational support to sales teams by ensuring timely updates on inventory availability and lead times.
Source and manage suppliers for raw materials and components, securing high quality products at competitive costs.
Meet with top vendors and customers as needed to discuss contracts and partnerships.
Process Improvement:
Identify and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency and reduce costs across procurement and operations.
Leverage Acumatica ERP for data analysis and reporting, driving informed decision-making.
Compliance & Reporting:
Ensure all activities comply with company policies and regulatory standards.
Prepare and present regular reports on procurement performance, inventory metrics, and operational achievements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, operations, business administration, or a related field.
3 years of experience in operations, ideally in manufacturing.
Proficiency in Acumatica ERP or similar systems.
Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
A proactive problem-solver with a commitment to continuous improvement.
