Bilingual Scrub Tech / Medical Assistant

Overview:

We are seeking a certified Scrub Tech with a Medical Assistant background who is fluent in Spanish to join our team. In this dual role, you will assist our doctor in the operating room on surgical days and perform Medical Assistant duties during clinic days.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the surgeon during procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.
• Perform Medical Assistant duties, including taking vital signs and updating patient records.
• Provide empathetic support to patients, addressing their needs and concerns to ensure comfort.
• Build strong relationships with patients and celebrate their successes throughout their journey.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Certified Medical Assistant (MA Certification) required.
• Certified Scrub Tech (CST) required.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with vital signs.
• At least 1 year of experience with EMR systems preferred.
• BLS Certification required.
• Fluent in Spanish.
