Entry Civil Engineer (Site/Land Development)

Over 30 years ago, Ron and Dave Stubbs began Stubbs and Sons Homebuilders, specializing in building quality homes in Central Iowa. Job Description:
Stubbs Engineering is seeking to hire a civil engineer to join our team. Projects may include: residential subdivisions, parking lots, site plans, roads/highways, etc. The engineer will assist in the design of land development projects from concept/study phases through construction, including grading, utilities, drainage, storm water management, sediment and erosion control, permitting, and regulatory approval. This individual will also prepare project specification, quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and project schedules.

· Involvement in the planning, design, and delivery of projects from start to finish

Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
· Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
· Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
· Effective time management skills
· Reliable and dependable. Commitment to regular attendance and at times put in extra hours to meet project demands
· Relevant computer skills – AutoCAD/Civil 3D, Autodesk Storm and Sanitary Analysis
Preferred: Engineering Intern (Engineer-In-Training) Certification'
