Senior Software Engineer - Customer Identity

The Customer Identity Engineering team plays a critical role in ensuring the safety of our users by maintaining and enhancing our authentication and authorization services through the use of security best practices and first-class software engineering.
This role will be based in either our New York, NY, Los Angeles, CA, or Aliso Viejo, CA office and has a hybrid (3 in-person days per week) work schedule.
Responsibilities :
- Design, build, and maintain scalable authentication and authorization services.
- Implement security features to protect against common vulnerabilities (e.g. OWASP top 10).
- Collaborate with data science teams to integrate machine learning models aimed at identifying and preventing suspicious login activity.
- Monitor and improve the performance of identity-related services.
- Investigate and troubleshoot issues related to account security, user identity, and authentication failures.
- Drive improvements in security protocols, performance optimization, and user experience.
- Keep up to date with the latest security and identity management trends and apply that knowledge to your work.

The anticipated gross base pay range is below for this role. Actual compensation will vary depending on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, and competencies. Base annual salary is one component of StubHub’s total compensation and competitive benefits package, which includes equity, 401(k), paid time off, paid parental leave, and comprehensive health benefits.
Salary Range : $200,000 - $275,000 USD
