Standards Engineer - eMobility
This role maximizes the development of sales potential for eMobility applications in North America, focusing on charging and onboard connectors.
About the Role
The Standards Engineer will utilize their knowledge of electrical connector products to influence technical standards and committees, benefiting Stubli solutions. They must have a working knowledge of component sales processes and demonstrate excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Aggressively promote Staubli's eMobility products according to established corporate policies.
- Evaluate data from standards, committees, catalogs, and technical documents to improve Stubli products or showcase superior performance.
- Collaborate with Engineering and other departments to prepare technical documentation, presentations, and reports supporting Stubli's contributions to relevant standards.
- Represent Stubli as a panel speaker or for press inquiries at relevant events.
- Maintain strong working knowledge of eMobility and related infrastructure markets, key customers, and how to leverage Stubli products within these markets.
- Collaborate internally to develop new opportunities with current products and provide market feedback for new product development.
- Perform administrative duties efficiently, including CRM entry, reporting, and customer correspondence.
- Develop good communication and rapport with decision-making personnel and all staff at customers and headquarters.
- Otain intimate knowledge of all products and convert features into customer benefits.
- Maintain an up-to-date customer contact address book and prioritize active projects.
- Participate in Networking events, tradeshows, webinars, and other marketing events.
- Support the preparation of Monthly reports.
- Develop a close working relationship with Staubli Electrical Connectors home office personnel.
Requirements

Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Engineering Management, or other equivalent technical degree.
- Minimum 3 years of successful field sales experience.
- Proven success of company-direct sales of technical products.
