What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Supervisor position at Studco Building Systems?
Studco Building Systems are leaders in manufacturing innovative metal building systems for the wall and ceiling construction industry. We currently have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional warehouse logistics team leader to join our team.
If you are highly motivated and have leadership skills and a can do attitude then this position may just be for you! Reporting to the VIC Logistics Manager you will be skilled in coordinating day to day operational functions of picking, packing and distributing orders to our large customer base.
The role is a full time permanent position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the picking, packing and distribution planning process of orders
- Monitoring backorders daily and provide regular updates to the sales team
- Assign tasks to team members, monitor performance and provide regular feedback.
- Unloading and receiving in goods
- QA checks to ensure stock goes out correctly
- Leading a small team
Our Requirements:
- Need to hold a current forklift license. (Essential)
- Need to a hold a current driver’s license
- Prior junior leadership experience (preferred)
- Experience in handling steel products (preferred)
- Available to do overtime when required

- Ideally have knowledge of the construction industry.
- Be physically fit.
- Sound forklift skills.
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Have the ability to follow instructions and pick slips with 100% accuracy.
- Have a positive attitude to work with a solid work history.
- Strictly adhere to OHS Policy and Procedure.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
