Pay Range Based on Education, Experience Certifications and/or Credentials:
$13.30 to $15.50 per hour

Triumph Public High Schools is seeking a dynamic, dedicated and passionate individual with a heart to help at risk youth, to work at our campus in Brownsville, Texas.
The Special Education Aide assist the teacher in meeting the individualized needs of students with disabilities in the least restrictive educational setting appropriate to the student. He/she assists in implementation of classroom programs, including self-help, behavior management, and instructional programs. He/she works under the general supervision of the academy director and immediate direction of a certified special education teacher. He/she performs other duties as required and that are within his/her capabilities.
Qualifications: Must have completed two years of study at an institution of higher education; or hold an associate of arts (or higher) degree. Two years of study is defined as having completed 48 hours or more college credit hours at an accredited junior college or university. Prefer individuals with ability to assist in instructing in the areas of reading, writing, and mathematics. Previous experience with working with students with special needs is preferred.
