Embark on an unforgettable 4-week adventure in Alaska, where you'll gain hands-on experience in conservation trail work while developing leadership skills and building community with fellow crew members. As part of a 4-5 person team, you'll work on exciting projects with federal, state, and local environmental agencies like the US Forest Service, National Park Service, and more!
What You'll Do
- Work on trail construction, invasive plant removal, and timber bridge building.
- Gain leadership development through training in risk management, outdoor living, and project logistics.
- Experience remote camping in Alaska's rugged wilderness with your crew.
- Build essential hard and soft skills for the outdoor industry.
What We're Looking For
- A passion for outdoor work and environmental service.
- Ability to work in challenging conditions (cold/heat, bugs, wildlife).
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and hike up to 5 miles on rugged terrain.
Program Benefits
- $300/week living allowance.
- $1150 travel allowance.
