Job Description
The Invasive Species Management Individual Placement is authorized under the Public Land Corps Authority. All participants must be between the ages of 16 and 30, inclusive, or veterans aged 35 or younger, at the start of the position. Participants must also be a citizen or national of the United States or lawful permanent resident alien of the United States.
Responsibilities
Identify and map areas infested by invasive plant species; Conduct fieldwork to treat invasive species using appropriate tools and equipment; Collaborate with team members to maintain equipment and vehicles;
Preferred Qualifications
Working knowledge of plant identification; Experience with invasive species control (both chemical and hand control); Experience using mobile data collection apps like FieldMaps and Survey123
