Driving Instructor

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Driving Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a commitment to ensuring that students become safe and confident drivers. This role involves educating students of various ages, including teens and adults, on the rules of the road, safe driving practices, and vehicle operation. The Driving Instructor will play a crucial role in shaping the driving skills and attitudes of future drivers.

Duties

• Conduct classroom sessions to teach students about traffic laws, road signs, and safe driving techniques.
• Provide behind-the-wheel instruction to students, guiding them through practical driving exercises.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their driving skills.
• Develop lesson plans that cater to the needs of individual learners while maintaining classroom management.
• Communicate effectively with students and their families regarding progress, concerns, and recommendations.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and performance evaluations.
• Stay updated on changes in driving regulations and best practices in driver education.

Qualifications

• Experience working with students in an educational setting is preferred.
• Background in adult education or experience teaching diverse age groups is a plus.
• Strong classroom management skills to create an engaging learning environment.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively convey information and instructions.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
• Ability to drive various types of vehicles for instructional purposes.
• A passion for educating others and fostering safe driving habits.
