Job Description:
The Center for Student Success (CSS) Office Assistants provide administrative support for the office. The CSS Office Assistants work collaboratively with professional staff in the center to develop and deliver success resources and services. Students are assigned various projects and daily work by the professional staff.
Duties and Responsibilities:
CSS office assistants welcome visitors to the center, provide customer service, answer phones, provide research support, create informational resources, and complete other projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
Personable
Able to work with highly confidential information
Reliable with good time management
Ability to follow directions and accurately record details
Currently enrolled as a student at Ithaca College
Desire to grow and learn
Commitment to student academic success
One semester of course experience at Ithaca College
Understands the principles, practices, and responsibilities of cultural humility and safety for diverse populations
Preferred Qualifications - all of the above, plus:
Experience as a Learning Coach or Peer Success Coach in the Center for Student Success
Sophomore standing (as of Spring 2024)
Pay Rate: $15.15
