POSITION SUMMARY
As a Computer Program Support Specialist Intern at The Onsi Group, Inc., you provide technical assistance to computer users, addressing inquiries
and resolving issues in person, via telephone, or electronically. Your support covers computer hardware and software, including printing, installation,
word processing, email, and operating systems. You also assist in configuring and customizing platforms like Microsoft Dynamics, SharePoint, and
Salesforce, and set up and customize computers for new hires. Additionally, you organize network closets and IT storage areas, undergo online
training for specific customization projects, and are willing to lead or participate in AI projects that complement Microsoft platform applications, with
familiarity in implementing Copilot AI. You embody the company's values of Servant Leadership, People Driven, Speak Responsibly, Reveal Potential,

WORKING CONDITIONS
General office. May frequently be required to walk, sit, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. Occasionally required to stand for long periods. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision. Use of personal computing equipment, telephone, multi-functioning printer, scanner, and calculator. Ability to travel to and from meetings, training sessions or other business-related events.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Answer user inquiries regarding computer software or hardware operation to resolve problems.
- Enter commands and observe system functioning to verify correct operations and detect errors.
- Install and perform minor repairs to hardware, software, or peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications.
- Oversee the daily performance of computer systems.
- Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software.
- Maintain records of daily data communication transactions, problems and remedial actions taken, or installation activities.
- Read technical manuals, confer with users, or conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems or to provide technical assistance
- and support.
- Confer with staff, users, and management to establish requirements for new systems or modifications.
- Develop training materials and procedures, or train users in the proper use of hardware or software.
- Refer major hardware or software problems or defective products to vendors or technicians for service.
- Prepare evaluations of software or hardware and recommend improvements or upgrades.
- Read trade magazines and technical manuals or attend conferences and seminars to maintain knowledge of hardware and software.
