Job Description
CHR PARTNERS, Inc. : Communications / Fundraising Internship
The Communications / Development Intern at CHR Partners will be responsible for crafting daily social media presence, producing all printed material and planning / executing a number of outreach and recruitment events.
As a national organization, this intern will have the opportunity to get real experience in starting an organization's communication and outreach platform that is individualized in a number of community markets.
This position's first priority is to ensure we are connecting with potential partners and community supporters (i.e. donors). The Communications Intern will reports directly to the Executive Director. This is a paid internship that will need to begin ASAP and will be required to work no less than 10 hours per week in the office.
Responsibilities :
- Day-to-day social media messaging and research
- Coordinate, Plan and Produce regular recruitment and outreach events
- Coordinate speaking engagements for the Executive Director
- Work closely with the Executive Director to ensure constant communication between new and former community supporters.
- Help complete grant research and completing applications
- Assist with researching and planning the application for certain certifications.

Community Housing Resource Partners (CHR Partners) is a nonprofit corporation founded in the belief that a safe and affordable home is the foundation of healthy communities. We provide services and opportunities for low to moderate-income individuals and families as well as develop multifamily and single family housing. and summer lunch programs, adult education programs in the area of ESL and GED, financial literacy and eviction prevention programs, as well as a full variety of health and wellness services.
