Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning tasks in guest rooms, hallways, and public areas to ensure a pristine environment.
- Sanitize bathrooms and replenish supplies to maintain hygiene standards.
- Manage laundry services for linens and towels, ensuring timely availability.
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist with deep cleaning projects as scheduled or requested by management.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests or inquiries.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, notifying management when restocking is needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in housekeeping or custodial roles, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Strong understanding of sanitation practices and cleaning techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills for effective interaction with guests and staff members.
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment is a plus.
