Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet operational goals.
- Ensure that all safety protocols are followed within the manufacturing facility.
- Utilize power tools, hand tools, and forklifts for various assembly tasks.
- Oversee the assembly line processes, ensuring timely completion of production schedules.
- Collaborate with team members to fabricate components as needed for production.
- Monitor inventory levels of materials and supplies.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Train and mentor staff on best practices for assembly and safe equipment operation.
- Implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
Experience
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on production management.
- Familiarity with operating power tools, hand tools, and forklifts is essential.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Experience in assembling products on an assembly line is preferred.
- Background in collision operations or management/coaching is advantageous.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
